    High cap mags

    I have started to shoot in pratical pistol matches using a glock 34, My question is i have 10 round mags most of the others that are shooting have 17 mags. Is there a permit i can get to have high cap mags to use
    in matches?

    There is a law preventing the manufacture and offering for sale of magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. There is a grandfather clause, anyone who already owned such magazines was allowed to keep them, but they can't be sold within the state.

    Possession of a magazine that goods more than 10 rounds doesn't appear to be prohibited, just the various ways to acquire or dispose of one.

    There are some loopholes for police and licensed security.

    There is no permit available that would allow purchase of such magazines.

    Others will point out the possile ways around acquisition, if they aren't already obvious from my post.

      If you did not have the hi capacity magazines before jan 1st 2000 you are sol in this state as a regular citizen.
