It tosses brass a little farther out, which you would obviously expect.

    No other issues.

I'm not exactly sure at what powder level 9mm is considered +P, but I was shooting 124gr 9mm the other night and it handles the ammo just fine. Definitely felt more recoil than 115gr for sure. Planning on trying 147gr at some point.

It's the issue sidearm for lots of the Frenchmilitary, and they're shooting 9mm nato out of it, which is about like US commercial 9mm +p, so should be fine.

the owners manual should tell you for sure if you have any questions.

I've actually read the damned thing 3 times, and not found anything. I'm not really worried about pressures however. My concern is more of whether the pistols like to eat it. I have seen a few automatics tha had issues with hotter loads, but were fine with standard pressure.

oh that sucks. most manuals will tell you.

this isn't official but i found this:

I just want to know if the Sig SP2022 is capable of firing +P+ rounds (9mm) without anything cracking, ect. I am not saying to keep giving it these types of bullets, I was thinking just to use those bullets for SD purposes only and wondering if the gun can handle it. To be more specific...

The link I posted in that thread is on the Sig FAQ page. It doesn't get more "official" than that.
