Help me pick Bobtail 1911-Commander

Or something along those lines. Looking for it to eventually to be a carry gun.

Oh, and it has to be 9mm.

I am leaning towards a DW Guardian. Budget is about 1500.

Also consider the Dan Wesson ECO. I own both the ECO and Guardian in 9mm and I favor the ECO.

I have a M&P Shield 9 and so the Guardian made more sense, to me.

ECO is 3.5" With an officer grip. I also have an EMP but remember you can never have to many 1911's.

A custom Dan Wesson CCO in 9mm would be pretty nice. You could buy a ECO in 9mm, sell the slide, and then ship the frame to Dan Wesson. DW could fit a 9mm commander slide and you would have a custom CCO in 9mm. You could even pick a custom name for the roll mark.

As I mentioned above, I have both the 9mm Guardian and the 9mm ECO. I have mix-matched them many times. I enjoy shooting the officer frame with the 4.25 slide as well as the Cmd Frame with the 3.5 slide.

They are both 9mm and both have ramped barrels. One is a Bull barrel and the other a Bushing Barrel. I was doubtful at first if they would interchange but the frames are identical except for grip length.

Once again, I say buy both in 9mm and mix-match to see what combo you prefer. I'll try to get a couple pic's posted showing them mix-matched.
