S&w model 64

Looking at the smith and wesson model 64 revolver at JG sales as I am heading out there this weekend. Are these the model 64-8 that are on the roster? I have heard people talk about the different model 64's but a) do not how to tell them apart, b) am not sure if the roster includes all 64 or just the -8. Thanks for any help.

The S&W Model 64-8 currently on the roster is the newest version with the internal lock. It is doubtful that the J&G revolvers are 64-8s as they are police/security trade-ins and are probably much older versions without the lock.

Only way to be sure...ask J&G.

So convert them to single action only... It'll cost you an extra $100 but it's still a good deal.
