BTW, I finalized my 9 mm AR pistol (based on the GMR-13) order with JP Rifles and it seems they can turn them around in about a month. I went with a fairly low optioned setup (bullet button of course, AFG and rail, tactical rail for a front BUIS, Sig brace, but no heat sink or any of the other upgrades) and I think with tax and SSE and DROS I will be looking at roughly $2k OTD. I intend to early on add a buffer plate sling mount and budget red dot optic, and ultimately rear and front BUIS. I committed to this purely on JP Rifles reputation, so it has me a little unsettled. The end of SSE drives people to do crazy things!

Are those SSE2 friendly? So many guns, so few slots.

After all the times I've been wrong when I thought something was illegal, I sure hope I'm right when I think something's legal!

Congrats. I read good things about JP Rifles. I might settle for a 9mm CMMG once it becomes obvious the Sig MPX will be late to the party. The CMMG does not seem too hard to locate in short order.

I just bought a Sig 556xi pistol in 7.62x39. I paid a small premium to be the first kid on the block, but heck, I need to keep my SSE slots open.

Nice! The gun, I mean. (My B-I-L hangs out here too LOL)

That is considered a second hand grip and would require a BB.

So finally I saw a good price on a CMMG Mk9 pistol and jumped on the deal.

God help me if the Sig MPX becomes available by Dec. 20th. So many guns, so little time . . .

Right around $900. CTD has it for less but FCTD. There is a used one on GB for $800, but the seller is in Guam

                        Figures

Two days after I made my purchase, of course another 9mm AR pistol came on the market. The MGI Hydra Vipera has a AR type lower that take standard parts, but the magazine well is interchangeable for different calibers and even two different 9mm magazine styles, Colt 9mm and Glock. They currently sell magwells to accept 9mm Colt, 9mm Glock, 7.62x39 AK, and 5.56 AR mags. In the past they used to advertise 5.45 AK, .45 ACP, .300 Black Out and .308 magwells too. $1314 for CA compliant model, not sure if it comes with a zero round sled.

$375 just for the lower and one magwell! Ouch!

I looked into that one a couple weeks ago... That handguard looks atrocious, and is a deal-breaker.

EDIT: Upon further review, the MGI lowers and magwells should be available without the upper. 9mm Glock magwells should be compatible with other upper receivers using MGI's 9mm Barrel. The 'best' part is a factory bullet button.
