So I jumped the bandwagon and bought a Phase 5 Tactical AR15 pistol multi cal lower. Who makes a pistol upper with more bang than .223 that will still be compatible with my lower?

I once pondered over the debate of 9mm vs. .40, then I was introduced to .38 super and 10mm and forgot all about it. -
hope you did your research before jumping on that bandwagon, pistol marked lower doesn't exactly mean it can become an ar pistol -
If you want bang look into 50 Beowulf pistol uppers.

what don't you get? he said he bought a phase 5 pistol marked lower which he can't attach anything less than 16" to it unless he found a ffl to dros it as a sse and in order for that the pistol has to be compete, someone who knows those steps i assume wouldn't ask a basic question like the op did.Comment

I don't know how short you're looking to go but the best bang for the buck right now in my opinion is a bcm 11.5" upper since all they're uppers come with a free bcm bcg right now!Comment

Do the pistol caliber uppers (9mm, 45acp) typically attach directly to a standard milspec ar lower? Any accept glock mags?Comment

My FFL let me rent an upper to DROS my pistol lower with. I just to had return it at the end of the 10 days. I don't know how the op did it, but there are ways.
