    Jericho 941

Just feel in love with one. Does anyone know where I can pick one up in So. Cal. In 45 ACP?

Try the Baby Eagle II. It's basically the same gun, however iv'e never even seen either one in person. Turners is listed as a dealer for the Baby Eagle II but never asked them if they had any in stock. I'm looking at this gun too because I have a few CZ-75b mags laying around and hear they are compatible.

      Been looking for one myself.

When you search around, be aware that this gun was sold under numerous names. Jericho, Baby Eagle, Uzi Eagle, and simply "Desert Eagle" just to capitalize on the D.E. name.

They also come in steel and polymer, as well as a variety of sizes. There are rumors that the earlier ones (basically the ones that don't have the big "IWI" logo on the grips, but instead have the IMI olive branch or whatever it is, or are marked Jericho or Uzi) were better made, but I don't know how much I buy that. I believe this comes from the fact that they changed factories, possibly when Kahr/MRI bought them out. It's certainly possible that there was a quality difference, but it's also true that the newer ones are more plentiful and likely to be in better shape. When I see old Jerichos for sale, they're pretty beat-up.

A huge batch of the "Desert Eagle" ones left the factory saying "Dersert Eagle." Manufacturer apparently DGAF because they didn't fix them and instead sold them as-is. People now try to sell these as "collector's items" as if they're unicorns, but there's actually plenty of them out there and there's no collector's value in it.

If you want an early, steel, IMI, Jericho, full-size, .45, you can buy this one for the low, low price of only $5,500: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=447045125

Basically, as hard as it is to find the right Jericho in the right condition for the right money, I gave up and went the EAA Witness route instead. They're almost the same exact Tanfoglio product.

I have a pristine IMI Baby Eagle .45. The slide marking says "Desert Eagle Pistol". IIRC the manual still in the box says Jericho Pistol. It looks almost identical to the Gunbroker one except the safety/decocker levers (ambi) are on the slide. You actually grab the front of the levers when you pull back the slide. The IMI guns I have seen are superb quality and great triggers. DA is heavy but manageable and smooth, single-action is very good but not a target trigger. It is like a lot of CZ's. The grip ergos are the best I have ever experienced on a 10+1 double stack .45 or other big guns like 1911's. The matte finish is tough as nails unlike any other thin easily scratched park jobs. All the mags I have for including the ones that came with it are Tanfoglio. I think the going rate for these was under $500 when I got mine in Sacramento. I had to have River City order one by request, since I really wanted one for some reason. It was between the IMI and the CZ97B. The CZ might be easier to locate, but I'd probably sell mine for way less than $5500, heh.

I was wrong, the manual says "Baby Eagle Pistol".

It is a good pistol, but heavy.

I see five or six listings on Gunbroker for the baby Eagle II .45 @ $500. Not hard to find.

          etc...

Look at importers/import sellers like ammo paradise, grabagun, or just google "jericho for sale".

They are awesome guns. My dad has the whole set. 9/40/45.

I have never seen a stainless one, but they do mention them in promo videos. In one of the MAC videos, Tim takes a tour of the US IWI facility and IWI US Sales Manager specifically mentions "Jericho pistols" as one of their actively imported lines to watch. I assume most other states they are easy to get if not too popular...they never really have been that popular, but they are very nice. For $500 I'd SSE one if I could just to have the railed version too, but can't do it. A Witness with Wonder Finish might be easier to score than a stainless Jericho.

GrabAGun has the EAA SARSLMZ K2 in .45 ACP 4.5" on special for $355... would need the 14 round mags blocked. Nice looking gun for $355.

They're going for $566 locally. Too bad, for that price, I would just rather get the Jericho or CZ.
