It sucks to shoot them. Nobody wanted them, so they were made in far fewer numbers. Rarity makes them more valuable.

    So remember, crappy = valuable.

I think I'm finally getting it. Thx.

And I guess I'm thinking anything over 2" is not a snubby. Could be wrong.

For a long time the 2.5" M66 was the ultimate snubby and the best gun out there if you needed a step-up in firepower from a 5-shot. Not many of folks that I knew shot a lot of full-house .357 loads in these. Loaded with .38Spl however the extra weight of the gun made it a real ***** cat. Remember that raining back when these were "hot stuff" was practice with .38 and carry .357.

Besides, the short-barreled M19 / M66 is also just a very sexy looking gun to a lot of folks eyes.

Interesting , what would a m66 no dash be worth if it was in the box with all the papers, tools still sealed in the bag, unfired 4J182xx put it about 73 I think.

Model 66 3 inch, now that's the cats meow. 3 inch gives a full ejector rod. It's very hard to find a 3 inch 19 or 66

I bought a VERY nice 66-1 at my LGS for $400 on consignment earlier this year.....Came with 2 sets of wood grips. The deals are out there.
