CZ Custom vs stock CZ spring weights

Hey Guys - I have a CZ SAO Shadow and a SP01 Shadow Custom on order. It seems like the spring weights that come with the CZ custom guns are typically a:
13# main spring
11# recoil spring
?# firing pin spring

Did I miss any springs that they swap out?

I am mostly worried about durability and slide damage. It has been stated on various threads that the 11# recoil spring is okay, because the slide stop takes most of the force, but I am still thinking of doing a 14# recoil spring. I hear that the stock sp01 springs are 18#. What do you guys have on your modded CZ's?

On the main spring - the 13# spring is supposed to work with the extended firing pin spring, but I am still thinking of going to a 15# main spring in case I get a Kadet kit.

I am unsure of the firing pin spring weight that is used. Overall I am okay with sacrificing some trigger smoothness for a bit more durability and reliability so I am thinking of a 14# recoil spring, and a 15# main spring ... what do you guys think? And what do you guys prefer?

I do no reload and will be using factory ammo, maybe a +p ammo once in a while but definitely not often.

I could be off in my information, but most people use a 11# main hammer spring and the 13# or 14# recoil spring. The 11# main spring is really best used for competition as it may not ignite the harder primers like CCI. All though, replacing the firing pin to a longer one may alleviate the issues and give better reliability. For competition guns, I've seen people go as light as 8# hammer spring.

There is really no reason to go with a lighter recoil spring unless you plan on shooting lighter loads. I personally try to meet the 125 PF for my reloads and to get those velocities, it is pretty much at the max pressure according to my load data, so a lighter recoiling spring is not necessary or even recommended if that is what you are aiming for.

For recoil springs I normally go 14lbs. for factory power loads. On hammer springs I have one shadow with a 11.5lb. spring and one with a 13lb. spring. Both guns have extended firing pins and reduced power firing pin springs. On a gun without an extended firing pin I would go with a 15 or 16lb. spring to make sure I don't get light hits on the primers.
