And the famous Kimberly reliability and stellar warranty/ customer service!

All joking aside that gun was the second firearm I ever purchased and I had 0 problems with it. I would pick up another if I was still buying .45 and it was a good deal.

They switched back to internal extractors and I'm expecting they've fixed the slidestop issue by now. Confidence is high!

I'm just poking fun. I had 2 Kimbers with no issues other that a striped/ defective grip bushing from the factory. They are nice guns.

I still have my regular custom II in stainless and I couldn't sell it. I really want a Dan Wesson but not at the expense of selling my Kimber.

I wish I bought that model instead of my custom II. It has all the upgrades I want now. (Rail, sights, front strap)

But really. My custom II has been amazing. I've had it about 10 years and shot a ton of rounds through it. It only jams if I shoot like 600 rounds with no cleaning and the chamber is totally filthy. Once cleaned its back running flawless. Im guessing that's normal for 1911s? I've made sure to put a new recoil springs in at the recommended intervals as well.

Liked my first kimber so much I SSE'ed a kimber desert warrior. Bought the new tan x300u and vz operator II's in marsoc color, and a kydex holster. Not even out of dros yet ha.

One of my first 1911's that I ever owned, and still one of the few guns that I've regretted selling.

Great gun and really great shooter. My only gripe with it was that my barrel would oxidize very easily so I would need to sand it with 2000 grit paper and keep it well oiled.

I already have a Remington R1 1911. My requirement to get another 1911 was to make sure it had everything I was looking for in features. I researched and picked it out even before i went to the gunshop. They were able to get the specific one i wanted by bringing it in from an inter-store transfer.

What kind of grips are those? Looks like a bigger thumb recess groove than I've ever seen before.

The TLE/RL II was the first handgun I bought when I turned 21. Almost seven years later and I'm still waiting for the first failure.

I saw this TLE/RL the other day on IG. The cuts actually flow pretty well with the 1911 slide.
