Actually any recommendations for a nightstand I can mount a gun-vault to?

1) Not exactly next to the "nightstand," but a big-azz German Shepherd, sleeping downstairs.

2) An HkP2000sk (because it comes straight outa my pocket at the end of the day, while the rest of the armory weaponry is locked up in a safe. Winchester 147gr SXT's.

3) Remington "Police Magnum" 870, #4 Buck, in a custom fabricated (by me) locked steel gun rack, in the master bedroom walk-in closet. (Provided I can get to it quick enough.) Otherwise I'm sure the HkP2000sk is adequate enough for someone coming through a downstairs door/window and if he gets by the shepherd.
