    Help on m&p core slide

I picked up the core last week. When I picked up the pistol, it was bone dry. No grease and no oil.

I field striped and cleaned her anyway and found this (see pic). Is it rusted? I used clp to rub on it and it couldn't come out.

The white stuff is the grease I put on during field strip.

I don't see anything. Does it shoot fine?

Yeah as long as it feels smooth to the touch, I too wouldn't worry about it. Put one drop of oil on it, spread it with the finger, reassemble and go shoot it.

I haven't fired her yet. The surface is smooth to touch.
