1911 sight clarification

I have Ruger SR1911 and have a clarification question regarding the sights.
It has from the factory Novak sights. If I wanted to add night sights any 1911 Novak cut sights would work correct?
Im nearly positive that any 1911 Novak sight should be able to pushed in

A call to ruger is the best way to find out.
Also, any new sights you are looking to buy will probably list the guns that it fits.

Even among Novak cut sights, some fitting may still be required.

Some dovetailed sights can be easily persuaded with firm taps from a non-marring hammer, but some requires greater force. As someone mentioned confirm with Ruger and hopefully you'll get a smooth fitting sight. Goodluck.

In all likelihood, it's going to be a Novak dovetail but I'd call Ruger just to be sure. But in my experience of putting on sights for my XD, Sigs, M&P, and Glocks, none of them has ever simply been 'drop in'. They all required a minor bit of fitting/sanding.

On top of this, I always apply loctite to the dovetail. Good luck with your install.
