Thinking about getting a Glock 30s

The Glock 30S is just a Gen3 G30SF frame with a 36 slide.

You get a few millimeters thinner on the slide. I see no real major advantage in this, because the frame is still the same thickness as a regular 30SF.

A straight up 36 would be thinner for all around.

But if you are going to SSE, might as well go Gen4 for more felt advantage of the texture.

The thinner slide on the 30s takes about 3.5 oz off the weight of the gun, better for carry.
