Recently picked up the FNX45, love it.

I love mine. They are excellent firearms.

I hate Glock. They are very popular so it would probably be easier to PPT one later if you really want one.

The FNX isn't as main stream.

I have a gen 4 21 and I LOVE it. I am also a Glock guy though.

Probably depends on what you are looking for though. FNX is DA/SA, Glock is striker fired. FNX doesn't have as many parts available for as cheap while Glock has an abundance of parts everywhere.

The only thing that should shy you away from the FNX, IMO, is the DA/SA system, especially if you aren't practiced with it and it will be for home defense.

Take it from someone who has had both... the G21. The FNX 45 had way too many fail points and defects, despite shooting nicely.

I had the FNX45 last year...picked up the HK45 full size shortly after. I could only keep one, and kept the HK45.

While the FNX45 is a nice gun, it's big, but it's a real soft shooter, low recoil...overall good gun. But the HK45 was better overall I think. I ended up selling the FNX45.

I've never owned or shot a Glock 21... not a Glock fan...so I couldn't tell ya.

While the FNX does feel more plastic like than my other polymer guns,
it shoots very well and has never given me even a hint as not to trust it.

I have a FNS L, and I swear that the polymer is harder/stiffer.

Love my Gen 4 Glock 21. Runs 100% and I own a bunch of 13 round prebans too feed it.

Just because, I just bought a SSE FNX .45

I have big hands and never even held one until I showed up to pay for it..

It feels very good in my hand. I've never shot one and can only imagine it runs good because of Internet range reports.

I will know more end of this month...........

Buy both! That's what I'm doing! I get my FNX 45 in 3 more days and at the end of the month I'm going to DROS a glock 21 gen. 4
