    Another glock 42 problem...

So I went to clean my glock 42 today and I noticed that When I manually move the trigger bar it would not reset. It's kind of hard to explain but It seemed like there was no return spring attached to the trigger bar (which there wasn't) does anyone know what would cause my trigger bar to become disconnected form the spring? Has anyone had this issue?

It looks like someone pulled the trigger assembly out & missed a step when they put it back together. The front of the cruciform should be under the trigger spring hook.

Correct. That's exactly what I thought too. Unfortunatly I cannot remember if glock installed the part correctly when I got it back from warranty. However pretty sure that this happened while shooting . I'm just wondering what caused it.

This is the first time that I have shot the gun since getting it back from glock. So, yes. I'm hopping that I didnt. I want to take it out to the rqnge one more time before I contact them...again. Hipefully it doesn't do it again and hopefully the ammo is what caused it.

Ok. Nm it's not the same. The cross with the number is always under the hook. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412133201.708276.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1412133211.873572.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1412133220.492011.jpg

Who has claimed that a glock is "indestructible"? Name one firearm that did not have issues when it first came to market. If you don't have anything constructive to add to my thread, don't.

Anyway, I have since fixed the issue. However, does anyone know what could have cause the issue?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your G42, nor is there anything wrong with the design of the firearm in general.

You have only 1/2 of the system in your hand. The other half is in the slide.

Glock haters like "Euphoria526" have no idea how the firearm works and are being ignorant with statements like

Hahahaha glock problems.... Indestructable my butt...

1SAM - I can see the trigger spring under your crucifix in the top picture. This is exactly as designed and not an issue. There are two other parts of the firearm that need to move to their proper positions in order to reset the trigger.

One is the connector, the other is downward pressure on the point of the trigger bar by the firing pin safety.

I suggest watching this video to understand how the glock trigger works and what needs to be done to reset the trigger.

The only difference between your G42 and the one shown is the trigger spring. Your G42 pushes the crucifix back where as the one in the video pulls it back.
