    Rami or P938?

Looking for an all steel pistol for future CCW. Was thinking either a CZ 2075 rami bd or a Sig P938? Any other suggestions are appreciated. I know I'll probably get the buy them both answer but that is not possible right now since the wife and I just bought 5 in the past 3 months.

IMO the p938 is one of the best carry options on the market. You can't go wrong there. I can't speak to the CZ.

Use this link to compare the two pistols, it's my favorite sight for handgun information when deciding between different guns for purchase:

Both are nice pistols, so that's a tough one. Have you had the opportunity to shoot both pistols to see which one you shoot best/like best?

Something about the Sig P938 makes me want to buy one.

If you are looking for a true all-steel pistol, the RAMI does not fit that bill. The RAMI with the metal frame has an aluminum frame. Now having said that, I think it would be a great choice. 10+1 (or 14+1 if you are not living here in CA). Internal slide rail design; full slide. But, also note that it is as wide as most FS double-stacks. Probably wider than the P938, and may, depending on your situation, better fill your hand. I am sure the Sig is a nice gun too. I just don't know it.

I'd go for the P938. It's a smidgen larger than the P238 which itself is a smidgen larger than the Colt Mustang.

I currently have a rami as my ccw, and I just bought a p938 to replace it. The rami is a great pistol but I've decided I want something that is easier to conceal. Also with a loaded magazine it has some weight to it, buying a better belt would have help with that but I believe the p938 is going to be my favorite for ccw.

                P938.

The P938 is a 17oz pocket pistol that has 6-7+1 rounds.

The CZ RAMI is a 26oz subcompact that has 10-14+1 rounds.

They're not really the same category.

Thank you guys for all your advice. I think I'm leaning more towards the 938. What's the main difference between the standard one, extreme, scorpion? I know there is a size difference between the CZ and Sig. I'm 6', 240 so I think I could conceal either one well. Just want something really reliable.

I'm bigger than you and I would not want to carry the RAMI. I want something that can go in the pocket. But to each his own.

Go to the Sig website and look at each of them. Read the descriptions and then click on specs as well.

They all have tritium night sights standard. The higher end ones also have a fiber optic night sight in the front. The SAS has an anti-snag finish.

I went for the Equinox. Liked the looks of it and the fiber optic night sight, and the price isn't that bad.

The Extreme and Scorpion are the same gun, but the Scorpion is Cerakoted FDE. Sig's site shows the Extreme without the serrations on the front of the slide, but is has them. The Extreme and Scorpion are the only ones that have that feature.

They make 10 versions of the P938, so I would also suggest going to Sig's sight and looking at all of them.

I went with the Extreme for a few different reasons...

If I hadn't used up all my gun budget, the next gun I would have considered is the 938. However I have an M&P Sheild to fill the role as "CCW gun that I'm not allowed to CCW". I don't need another carry gun I can't carry (yet!).

My friend has been jonseing to buy a 938 though.

I'm 6'3 240 and I can hide the rami but you will have to dress around it, I don't like that much weight either I just bought the scorpion can't wait to add it to my ccw
