i dont even see why ppl buy to flip them anymore. i just buy reloads online and call it a day especially if its just for plinking, though i only buy hd ammo online to. i see a bunch of overpriced ammo in the fs section everyday. i love beating dead horse. The internet has given voice for the incredibly stupid peopleComment

The only ammo I have a hard time finding is 22lr. It's out there but I refuse to pay $$50 for a brick that should only cost $$25. Good thing I stocked up when it was readily available a couple years back.Comment

The problem is the guy I saw drop $75 for a brick at the Del Mar gun show last Saturday, as long as people will pay those prices the behavior will continue.

goes to show that every ecosystem has its bottom feeders, this one included. unfortunately, they aren't always pleasurable (at least shrimp and lobster taste good) and don't always benefit the ecosystem as a whole.
with that being said, better this than they commit serious crimes for a "living".Comment

Don't pay the high prices for ammo. Everything should be catching up now. Let the hoarders sit on all that ammo and rot.The wise man said just find your place

"Some people that run youth and rimfire shooting programs are too oblivious to see what's been happening over the years. Youth don't deserve leaders who aren't prepared...it sets a bad example. A big lose-lose for the kids.
The solution, apparently, is to find some leaders with some awareness of what's happening around them.
Maybe shop online"
Most of the 4-H volunteers that I know have these things called jobs that makes it hard to get in line before the various stores open on "ammo day". They can't turn getting 22 ammo into a fulltime job and work too. I haven't been able to find 22 ammo at anywhere normal prices regularly online. Young families trying to get their kids started in shooting sports often can't afford 50-60-75 dollars or more for 500 rounds of ammo.
Yes, if you make it the #1 priority in life to get cheap ammo, and don't have other responsibilities, I guess it can be done. But it is hurting youth shooting sports. The new families haven't been around long enough to have stocked up in the past when it was available. MarkComment
