    Gen 4 Glock 34?

I pick up my Gen 4 Glock 17 in 10 days and have time for one more SSE. I'm thinking a Gen 4 Glock 34 to go with my Gen 4 17, 19, and 26.

Great choice (gen 4) but consider a HK VP9 or a Walther PPQ 4 inch.
May the Bridges I burn light the way.

G41 is the way to go. If you don't like it you can sell it to me.

I'd say it's pretty much a requirement with that hand...
If you shoot, or think you might someday shoot action pistol, it's a no brainer. Make it a comp gun and go crazy with the mods!

I have both a Gen 3 G34 and a VP9. The G34 has a few minor things done to it like new recoil spring, polishing up the trigger bar & connector, and stippling w/finger grooves removed.

While the VP9 does feel better (more comfortable) in my hand, the G34 feels like it's a better shooter IMO. At least for me, I can drive nails at 7, 15, and 20 yards consistently with the G34 over the VP9. The VP9 is a nice shooter, but the G34 just feels more 'stable' when I'm running & gunning between obstacles in a stage that we would setup in a private range. But again, that's me as YMMV.

Static target shooting, both are just as accurate IMO.

The one nice thing with a G34 is that you can use your G17 mags in it, so that's less mags you'll need to buy for it in the future (and much cheaper too compared to VP9 mags - at least half the price).

Get the 34. Mine replaced my 17 as my favorite Glock.

I am realizing I have to get one.. it would be nice to use one of these slots for a vp9 or something, but glocks just shoot so well. .. comfort and accuracy don't go hand in hand. Olympic style target pistols and rifles are an example of this... they are awful to shoot lol. All my glocks are stock but I could take the 34 and drop in a new trigger, mag well funnel, target sights instead of combat sights, and if the difference between the 19 and 17 extrapolateso probably shoot 3 inch groups at 50+++ yards. Can't beat it!.

LOL looks like you got the entire Glock family.

I am trying to get an HK VP9 first. I still want a Gen4 19, before the SSE is over, but for some reason I am not to rushed to get it. Something tells me Gen4s will be on roster next year. There is NO reason they shouldn't be. If not , then I will be perfectly fine with a Gen3. However make no mistake, i will own a gen4 before the deadline , just going after bigger game before i do.

I'm bypassing the 17 and getting the 34. They seem redundant.

I have a 34. Keep talking myself out of a 17... got to prioritize given the situation.
