M3 Tactical Light Bulb Burnout...

I was changing the cr123a batteries and the fresh cells must have been too much for the bulb....

Pretty bummed out cuz I just got this light 10+ years ago ... Pre-LED... And, Streamlight stopped production/support just a few years ago

Google fu is weak and I've been unable to find replacement bulbs or LED conversions. Although I am window shopping for a new torch, would really like to fix if at all possible...

CGers, any suggestions for finding a bulb, conversion, or how to hack and "make" a new bulb fit/work? ...thanks in advance.

Donno how legit the site is though. You can also upgrade your bezel to LED if you want.

^^ If you're talking about an M3/M6 LED upgrade, it would be this:

They don't seem to be easily found and aren't cheap at all. I think you'll be much better off waiting for a cheap M3 to pop up and use it for parts, or buy a current TLR-1. Those can be had for under $100 brand new if you keep your eyes open.

i think the brand is Tactical Illuminators, definitely not OEM. that LED conversion you found is bad ssa but it costs twice as much as the light itself if OP were to buy a new one. i already noticed that the OP is the first bidder on both of the Tactical Illuminators bulbs .
