Looking for info on a S&W with British marks

Picked this beauty up with no grips and it says Parker Hale England and has British crown marks on the barrel, cylinder and frame.

Picked it up at auction last week for $75, just need to hunt down grips for it.

And the serial does have a V so it's a Victory model.

It appears to be a lend-lease pre-Victory model S&W .38Special revolver, similar to the below pic.

Looks to be just a square butt / k frame.

Buy a cheap pair of pachmayr K / L frame square butt grips and if they fit, get yourself some nice wood stocks.

One of them should have the grips thay you are looking for.

My bad. The K38 model 14 was the target and K38 model 15 was the combat version, so I assume this is a model 15 then.

Regardless, the grip appears to be K frame / square butt. Hope that answers your grip question?
