    Few additional notes:

    1. Plastic trigger can be replaced with a after market aluminum one, although I don't have a problem with the OEM plastic one.

    2. Trigger pivots at the top; so the higher up your finger is on the trigger face the better.

    3. Disengaging the safety can be done with a natural swing of your thumb downward.

    4. Slide can be racked with the safety on; which is handy to unload a chambered round (although you will cock the trigger).

    5. Nice quality night sights - same as a full-size Sig.

In all, a pretty amazing firearm.

In addition to the above, I found (by accident, which is how I usually learn such things ....) the ambi safety can be swung all the way back when the slide is removed and the hammer down. This allows the left side spring plunger to taken out and if one is so inclined remove a coil or two.

As an aside, I bought a DeSantis Quick Cip removable holster for a Sig 238 and the 938 fits in very, very well. I suspect the holster was designed with the thumb release going over the 238 holster, on the slightly longer 938 it's a perfect fit with the hammer to the rear. The slide protrides from the bottom by about 1/4", other than that it's an excellent, tight fit.

They won't ship off roster handguns to California. You have to use an out of state FFL, like AudioPhil, as a middleman.

That PSA deal is the SAS model with the "melted" edges on the slide too. I think all the other P938 's are pretty much the same except colors and grips and in one case the fiber optic front sight. That's a great price!

I sent this link to my FFL and he responded by saying he bought it and what the cost was. According to above posts, Will PSA deny the shipment to him since he is a CA FFL?

I picked up the P938 Equinox - it wasn't my first choice but it was what was available at the time and I really like it more than I thought I would. The equinox finish on the P938 is awesome - I like it a lot more than I like it on the bigger Sigs. The trigger does feel a little cheap, but that doesn't bother me. For me, the biggest thing with the trigger is that while it looks like a 1911 trigger that should pull straight back, it's actually hinged at the top like most non-1911 guns. Never had an issue with it, I've fired only factory ammo.

I liked it so much that I ordered a P938 SAS that's in line for me to DROS.

its one of the rare pistols where i had to have another one. its that good.

and i fondled an equinox model over at oc firearms. gotta say that the finish combined with the fiber optic front sight was indeed impressive.

This is my personal gun of the year. Also, the hogue grip for the p938 is simply amazing. It makes the gun fit like a glove. So controllable it's insane. I highly recommend.

I just picked up my Extreme a week ago. With a pocket holster...it just disappears into my front pocket ..... even in Levis's!

I am not a Sig guy. I have always appreciated how they look. I have shot a few of them and they shoot ok for me.

I have to say though, the Sig938 speaks to me. It is the most intriguing Sig i have come across. I though i had written it off for an SSE this year, but this thread is making me think about it again.
