You just have to have a bb button. Nothing else.

The magazine being outside if the grip is a "feature" therefor a BB is always required.

        1. Can you take off pistol grip and muzzle device and have a featureless pistol and use a detach mag?

        2. If you Resell the pistol in a ppt, do you simply just need a bullet button and your good to go, or does the mag well have to be blocked like when it was transfered originally?

Ive got a PaP M92 I want to sell with a bullet button, but not sure how i should go about this, it was bought legally of course and is in legal configuration.

        thanks guys
        1. No. Since the magazine is located outside of the pistol grip, it must always have a fixed magazine (maglock + 10 or less round magazine) to be CA legal.

        2. Maglock + 10 round magazine or 0 round magazine/sled.

As the others have said, no such thing as a featureless AR/AK pistol.

so during time of transfer, the 10 round HAS to be inside?

Need something (10 or less round magazine/sled) locked in to show it's a fixed magazine.

                thanks quiet,

Now when atlantic sent it to me, it didnt come with any mag, it came with some sort of mag well block with a screw. Im assuming this would work too?

are AR/AK pistols going to be legal for FFLs to sell after 2014?

Based on what I see, the only way they can is a true permanent single shot AR/AK pistol.

You can always switch out the upper on an AR pistol later so it can be semi auto. SSE2 for AR pistols should be a viable option in 2015.
