Mr. 2nd Amendment's Glock 20 buying guide.
1) Do you live around or hike in areas with large wild animals frequently?
YES = go on
NO = Don't buy it
2) Are these animals either bears or wild hogs?
YES = go on
NO = Don't buy it
3) Do you have an amazing disposable income to purchase 10mm to train with?
YES = go on
NO = Don't buy it
4) Is there really no other option available to you like a .357 wheel gun, hot-loaded .45 ACP, or even a .44 Mag wheel gun?
YES, THERE'S OPTIONS = Don't buy it
NO, THERE IS NO GUN ON EARTH THAT CAN DO THIS = go on
5) Don't buy it
Simple.
You'll never shoot it, when you do shoot it the ammo is scarce and expensive, and there are just about a million other readily-available options that could do better. If you're worried about big animals on your property, get a shotgun with slugs. Much more use you can get out of a good 12 gauge compared to a unicorn gun you'll never train with. Besides, the 10mm isn't the same cartridge it used to be. It's basically a 40+P these days, you have to search far and wide to find "old-school" 10mm and when you find it you won't want to shoot real 10mm out of a polymer gun.Last edited by mr2ndamendment; 09-24-2014, 4:56 PM.VMI '11

Buy ammo online $20 a box. Its cheaper than buying 45 in stores. Save your brass and reload or sell it off to recoup costs. People shoot moreally expensive calibers all the time but I only hear complaints about 10mm.Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Maybe it's time to clear your yard? Do you have to shoot them? Buy a $15 air horn

Underwood and Buffalo Bore make some pretty stout loads for the 10MM, and there's always hand loading.Comment
