What would be an appropriate price for a used M&P9?

I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P9L Pro Series C.O.R.E. and I am looking to sale my M&P9. I bought the M&P9 in October 2013 for $520 but have since then seen it regularly on sale for $485 NIB in my area. It shoots well and has 300 rounds through it. A friend is interested in buying the pistol and I wanted to know what would be an appropriate asking price. I am selling the M&P9 with the case and 2 magazines it came with when I purchased it.

    Thanks.

I sold my M&P 9 for $520 about a month ago. They are now off roster so I doubt the $485 NIB offers are still around.

Since they're now off-roster, it's pretty much CA free market price on them. I'd also think that the free state version without mag disconnect would be worth slightly more.

IMO, if you're selling to a friend, then selling it for what you paid is a win-win on both sides because he can't just walk into a store and buy one anymore.
