They'll be ready when they're ready. Call Sig and they'll tell you pretty much the same thing.
You will most likely have to get a Grip module for the 45. Look at the two rounds and note the obvious dimensional differences. This means the dimensions of the magazines and magwells are just as different. For a universal grip module to be possible, you'd obviously end up with a very loose fitting 9mm magazine. Loose to the point of being unreliable. Only way for this to work is if magazines of smaller calibers have inserts to make up for the difference in size... which isn't the case.
And, lastly, call Sig. You are more likely to find people there who work for Sig than here.Last edited by fmunk; 09-17-2014, 7:23 PM.Comment

45 grips are not the same as 9/40/357sig. Mechanically and physically impossible for the reasons I outlined.Comment

And the grip module is not the frame. The frame is the FCU, which has the rails on which the slide rides.Comment

For my P250 I went with the exchange kit to go from 40 to 357. For about $100 more than just a barrel, I got a grip, slide, night sights and a magazine. The 20% off coupon from registering online made it a great deal IMO.Ruger MkII Target .22lr
