Possible to SSE SA TRP Operator?

I only ask because it seems almost completely impossible to find the CA version, so is there a way to get a new one via SSE?

You can get the half rail via SSE. You can find full rails on gunbroker. You can score them for great prices from time to time. This one looks sweet:

SSE on a 1911 is as easy as they get. So yes.

But you are not referring to the operator, you are referring to the non-railed service model which is the only model that has both an on and off roster configuration. The operator comes in 2 models, half rail and full rail. The full rail is on the roster and the half is not.

On the non-rail TRP's they need to have the wood grips to be roster compliant.

Empowered Arms in Vista has it in stock. You can have it in 10 days and check it our prior to buying. I believe it's on sale.

It's a TRP Operator. If it's what you want go get it!!

I just DROS a TRP Operator half rail brand new from a local gun shop. There was no mention of SSE and they said it was on the list.

The half rail TRP is not on the roster in any configuration.

That's weird I've seen brand new NIB at 2 different gun shops up here in East Bay. They already gave me a pick up date and the DROS form says the gun is brand new.

Are you sure they did not DROS it as a single shot and just did not mention it? Or did they get the model number wrong?

Here are the TRP model numbers:

PC9105LCA = black full rail TRP (only 1 configuration offered and its on the roster)
PC9105L = black half rail (only 1 configuration offered and its no longer on the roster)
PC9107L = stainless no rail TRP (must have wood grips to be roster compliant)
PC9108L = black no rail TRP (must have wood grips to be roster compliant)

They did not mentioned SSE but I asked both shops and they said it was on roster. The shop I DROS it from doesn't even do SSE.

Well, it is what it is. Congrats on a very nice 1911.

It's the FFL's responsibility to follow the roster so any mistake is on them.

                    Enjoy your new operator.
