I got one via SSE. It was pretty simple. I was gonna sell it but I'm not convinced about getting rid of it yet.

I will say from dry firing it, the trigger and the reset feel WAY better than both my fs m&p and m&p9c

If you don't mind, how old is your full-size M&P? Does the trigger bar have the tiny "H" imprint on it?

Thanks. Mine is mid-2014 and has an H, and the trigger seems much better than past versions. I'm thinking about a Shield and was just wondering if the trigger would be even better than my "new & improved" full-size. I can't really tell from dry-firing it in a store.

I have a Shield 9mm w/o the dumb manual safety. Picked it up SSE from Baboosh at 2a zone for a good price. It's on my CCW and I love it.

Apparently living in a free state doesn't help when trying to focus your camera on what you are taking a picture of. 1 out of 5 aint bad I guess.

I don't understand the big fuss about the safety. Its very small and unobtrusive and if you don't like it, just leave the safety in the off position... That is how I carry mine.
