Hello fellow southpaw! I also have the same SA Loaded and really love it. I have been using it for Single Stack in USPSA. I do have my thumb over the safety when I shoot.

How do you like the panels with the finger grooves?

I find them very comfortable. AMTs originally came with the hard rubber Pachmyr grips. These are a little better, specially for prolonged shooting.
