XP 100 Experts

Have always loved this pistol and would like to make one. What action was used in it's manufacture??? And is there a source for them??

IIRC, the XP 100 uses the same action as the Rem 7, but in single shot mode. In case you had the thought, yanking the barrel & stock off a Rem 7 & slapping on a XP stock & handgun length barrel is a "no no".

You may want to buy a plain old stock XP and customize away. I have a Rem custom shop in 223 with a 15" barrel, 10X Burris scope. Really very accurate and pleasant to shoot.

San Jose Gun Exchange has a few for sale I think, one is in 338 Win Mag if you feel like a bit of punishment.
