    Glock Reference Manual?

I am scheduled for a Glock armorer's course later this fall and wondering what would be the best book(s) to read prior to attending? I'm sure the course is pretty thorough but since I'm not a gunsmith, I'd like to have the academic material locked down - rather not be "that guy". I found copies of the "Complete Glock Reference Guide" and a reprint of the "Glock Armorer's Manual" on Amazon and they seem pretty decent from their reviews.

Would especially like any insight from those who have attended the course and are familiar with the various manuals available.

    Thanks as always!

    Glocks are pretty stupid simple.

You can probably learn a lot just on Youtube.

Patrick Sweeny has written three books on Glock pistols. The first two had lots of good information, and I would say they are worthwhile. The third book, not so much. The books were published by Gun Digest. I routinely go back and review book one and two on a regular basis.

Now having said that, you will get everything you need in the 8 hour course, but why not do a bit of preparation.

Click the link to check out book two.

Varg - agree, but I have a problem (according to my wife); I tend to go overboard with my interests. I have a couple of shelves of motorcycle reference books... there's no escaping this.

003 - I didn't see those before. Thanks for the link.
