Last Chance for a Sig 556 Pistol

    SOLD OUT....

Rifle Gear still has a few Sig 556 pistols in stock as of today
LAST CHANCE!!!, they sold out of the Ca compliant Sig P516 Rifle caliber pistols yesterday. This is literally your last chance to ever own one in Ca with the SSE coming to a close.

    You're welcome.

Anyone know if the P556xi will be available before the end of the year?

Very, very unlikely. Also, from what I've seen, the 556xi guns generally have the "difficult" mag releases on them. The simple AR type release are much preferred - much easier to get a get a mag lock. I think there are still P556 classic and SWAT models out there - those will be hard to get in CA one of these days, especially with the PSB on them.

What's the consensus on the Sig M400 11.5" B5 Pistol? Any good?

They work just fine, and if you're accustomed to the AR platform, they're great. I personally like the gas piston system - it keeps things cleaner and it's a lot more reliable when I abuse the guns. But, both will put holes through things just as well.

For those who have a P556.....any issues? FTF, FTE, and other malfunctions? How reliable has it been for you? Round count?

                    Thanks.

I hope SSE #2 will work for the likes of the p556. I don't have any slots left for one in 2014.

There's a seller in TX selling a few models on Gunbroker who's CA friendly

They are 100% reliable. If you look at its guts it runs an AK bolt carrier with a slightly different spring compression system.
