    Quick question about range etiquette

Some of you may know that I have a glock 19 gen 4 that I will be breaking out of jail on Saturday, if not, I have a glock 19 gen 4 that I will be breaking out of jail on Saturday, lol! I have ordered ammunition from freedom that should be arriving around the same time, if not sooner, than my glock's release date. Before coming to the range, I will have my pistol, unloaded and safety checked with the trigger in the uncocked position. I will also be bringing along 3 fully loaded 10 rd magazines in the stock glock carrying case from the manufacturer. Is there anything else I need to know besides definitely not having a loaded magazine in my Glock? Looking forward to feedback! Thanks guys.

Thou shalt not pickup other's brass before asking.

Oh yea, make sure your case is locked when transporting from car to the range and back.

Depends, but sometimes I ask others if I can have their brass if they don't seem to be collecting it. Sometimes I get dirty looks though, and for some reason sometimes this upsets people.

One man's trash is another man's treasure. If someone isn't taking theirs (ask first) as far as I'm concerned it's free for the taking.

Good advice, this is something that may have slipped my mind.

I wouldn't transport loaded magazines even if separate from the pistol.
Potential can of worms if your stopped.

What is wrong with loaded magazines stored separate from pistol?

I keep my mags unloaded as well, just as a precaution. Loaded mags may look scary to some leo's and some not. Better safe than sorry

So, it's better to wait til' I get to the range to load magazines? Kind of a pain but if it prevents me from getting a ugly weapons charge on my record, then I'm all for it.

So by separately, you mean in an entirely different container than my pistol?

Technically nothing. But will the authorities (whether police officer, or range person) know that there is nothing wrong with this? If they don't know the law, which most don't, and the law is difficult and changing, then there could be more of a hassle than necessary.
