Sig .357 in All stainless or not?

Bought a used p226 .40 couple of months ago for the purpose of making this a dedicated .357.

I'm now considering of putting the .357 sig barrel in my P226 .40 all stainless permanently instead.
If you were in my shoes, would you make the switch?

use the barrel in both of them. Its just a simple barrel change. The 226ST in 357 would be nice though.

Or buy another 226, another stainless 226, an extra .357 barrel and have 2 in .40 and 2 in .357

Oh! I agree if I have only one P226 in .40 but since I have several, would like to make just one dedicated for .357. Just have to decide if all stainless is the best choice.

Already have several in P226 & P229. If you don't already know, I'm a .40 guy. By the way, don't let my wife hear you with your suggestion, she already confiscated my wallet & car key. Don't make me loose my bed too!

I'm supportive of dedicated pistols in each caliber. That way you can sight in their respective sights for their chambering...the 357SIG shoots flatter.

If they were mine, I'd dedicate the 226ST to the 357SIG barrel. I've always found that chambering more accurate, even in a SIG 2022, and think the ST platform would offer potentially more accuracy

So far all of my sigs whether bought new or used they are all sighted correctly and been really fortunate not to have them adjusted. The only exemption was the mosquito, it was shooting low.

If you happened to get P210 then it's worth it, bite the bullet and join the club. Sure, you'll be riding public buses or bike but hey! you've got your priorities taken care of, right?

Yep, given my opinion of the .40, not that I'm a God or anything. That 357 sig in an all ss gun will be a *****cat to shoot and probably a tack driver.
