    MPA 30 9mm mag???

Just ordered a MPA 9mm. Figured they are cheap enough and if I want one I better buy one. Anyway, any ideas on where to find mags cheap 10/30 or something like that?

    Thanks

I got mine from US Machine gun. But that was before the ban on rebuild kits. They are Sten mags.

Maybe call PRK the sell MPAs

I was looking at potentially buying one of their pistol caliber carbines, and the only place I could find CA legal mags in stock was Atlantic, and they were std 10 rounders, nothing like pinned/riveted/blocked 10/30's. Same mags used in the pistols.

A Mac clone just isn't right without the mag hanging low... IMHO of course.

Agreed, I hope it's a fun gun. Never had one before. Just figured they are kinda pointless. But their dirt cheap($336 shipped W/ins) and I may not be able to SSE it next year so I pulled the trigger.

My mpa 45 uses grease gun mags, it is fun to shoot, but definatly a novelty handgun. I do have a few sten mags laying around without a gun, looks like I need to buy one in 9mm.

It is a head turner at the range. I let people shoot mine all the time.

The ergonomics suck, sights aren't great. but ya it is a fun gun to have. It would make a pretty cool SBR if we lived in a free state. US Machinegun has a **** ton of accessories!

The mags have been the reason I have been holding back. Where did you order yours from? Keep us updated on the mag solution.

Where did you see these for 336?

Here's some 10/20 9mm Sten mags. Vendor is GTG.

Masterpiece arms sells 10 rd mags, which are the Tapco mags cut down to 10. I got some, but had to modify them because you could force an 11th round in. I mostly use the Sten mags though. I grabbed a bunch before the conversion kit ban and cut down some to 10 rounders and blocked others. I tend to use the long ones more, but keep in mind that Sten mags are a BI$&% to load. The Tapco loader works ok, but is not a great fit for the Sten mags. Get a surplus loader if you go Sten.

Would the pistol version require a bullet button? It seems it would not imho.

It does not, because the brake is welded on defeating the threads. However, MPA sells them without the mag release for the purchase process. There will be a coupon with a number to call in the box and they will send you the switch which is easy to replace.

                              Check with hartatac.

They are a vendor here and have asked what mags people would want to see riveted.
