clarification on AR pistol neede

I am new..have read the post information on ak/AR ppistols. ..once purchased as single shot owner can convert to semi..I thought I read somewhere in the text that normal size mags still at that point can NOT be used. ..I just want to know if I buy a single shot pistol..if I can Remo email the sled and use 10 round mags with out issue...I plan on buying lwrc mmy pistol...any assistance is apperceive..
