Damn it.... I just bought (pickup tomorrow) a regular RIA 1911.

Not bad if you have a FFL with low transfer fees. Around me the cheapest are $60. Shipping being $20 pushes the gun to the $500 range which is what Turner's usually sells them for so not much of a bargain for me.

too bad there's no turners in norcal... we have... big 5? and their same 15 rifles/scatterguns that theyve been sellin' for the last 5 years.

centerfire is not cali friendly w/ regards to evil rifles, putting BB's on, etc. they told me about maybe 8 months ago that they could send other stuff.

Two of my friends ordered Rock Island's from them and had no problems getting shipped to a CA FFL.

Bummer on my part, but their loss at this point. Ended up supporting RifleGear and got the RIA Midsize 2011 Tac model (SKU 51488), free shipping to Nor Cal FFL.

Mmmmmm can't wait to pew pew pew. September SSE is filled.
