Already tried that! Showed up with a 9mm 1911 and got chewed out cause she just wants me to put the money into a ring. I'm trying to sneak this one in under the radar and my budget isn't very big. I just want to get her something nice without having to finance anything and still sneak something in for me too

I always wondered when the to be future groom receives as a present in return for shelling out $X000 for her ring? "her" is not a gift. I'm talking something that has a monetary value? How about she gets you the other gun be it the P-01 or the SP-01 as an engagement gift? I'm not" sensitive enough am I?

They have a huge selection of czs right now, p09s, sp01s, p01s, and 75s in all flavors.

Can't go wrong with the P-01, but since your LGS has such a large selection, you might want to see if they have two other CZ compact models and compare them: the PCR (if you don't care about the light rail) and the 75 B Compact which is all steel (but has a safety and no de-cocker) & feels a bit more like a full size CZ 75.

Though since you have the P09 you could get rid of the 75b and get the SP01 since you have the p09 if weight becomes an issue.
