I went with the Galco KingTuk for my G26 on the recommendation of a friend. I pick up the pistol on Saturday and the holster is in the mail so I have no first hand experience to offer but I have high hopes for both based on the reviews I've read.

Alessi leather Talon and Alessi leather Talon Plus (Talon Plus has reinforcement strip across mouth of holster).

i have an OldSchool Alessi (made during Lou Alessi's lifetime) IWB Talon for the G26. it's a great little holster, and despite not having a reinforcement strip at mouth of holster, is stiff nevertheless. the holster has a touch of the minimalist to it; thin, stiff leather. can be found occasionally on online auctions.

i can't speak to the quality of the work put out by Alessi since the passing of Lou Alessi; all of my Alessi holsters were made during Lou Alessi's lifetime.

I ordered an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0 for my G26 about a week ago. Still waiting to receive but I'll let you know what I think of it when I get it.

I use Crossbreed but there are many options in hybrid style holsters, which is all I'll recommend. Like many out there, I have a pile of holsters that didn't make the grade and it's always because whatever I've tried is not as comfortable as the hybrid style.

Also, If the company you choose offers a horsehide option, definitely pay the extra couple of bucks, it's worth it!

Lastly, don't skimp on your holster purchase. When you figure out what style you like, treat yourself to something nice. Think of it this way, if you had to wear the same pair of underwear every single day to hold your python in place, you wouldn't buy the cheapest pair you could find at Walmart. Buy yourself a nice pair of undies and a quality holster.

I'm selling a really beautiful black leather/shark skin TT Gunleather IWB holster for a G26.

Companies like TT Gunleather and Milt Sparks are much more expensive, but IMO more comfortable, and the quality of the leather/stitching/finish work/leather dye is far superior. These holsters are built for years and years of daily use.

I don't like carrying kydex or even hybrids IWB. Pure leather only. For OWB I use Raven Concealment kydex, and those are great.
