RIA Pro Match vs Tactical?

I am planning on picking up a RIA 1911 Tactical in .45, when I noticed the Pro Match model on he website. I don't see much info on these. Anyone have input regarding this model?

I made that choice too... I think they are both nice for the money. I'm picking up a Match when I am cleared to DROS.

I'll tell you the little I know. Alot of the extras are the same (Ambi safeties, skeleton hammer, trigger). The (on roster) Match I have inspected has the same checkered rubber grips as the (on roster) Tactical. The Match has the fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight. The Match has a match barrel and is hand fitted. Though the last time I had a Tactical and Match side by side I thought the fit was great on both samples and the Tactical even felt a bit tighter. Trigger pull is nice on both but seems to vary more on the tacticals. Match slide movement always seems smoother, more polished. FWIW Good luck.

Thanks. I agree, every RIA tactical I have seen recently has left me impressed. Very good tight fit and crisp trigger pull. Got one in 9mm to SSE for the wife. Going to go with the tactical, can't be beat for $500.

Yeah, good choice. They are both nice. Around here the Tactical goes for around $465.

I am a Springfield fan, have a Mil Spec and a Loaded. They are great guns in those price ranges.
After handling a TRP, I could not honestly say it was fit any better than the Loaded or Range officer.
