I live very close to an indoor range so trips can be somewhat impromptu and I typically only take a couple of handguns with me. I don't have a huge collection but enough where I seem to fall into a common theme sometimes choosing the ones I take.
For example, it might be "hammer time" and take only hammer fired ones.
Maybe it's 9 time and only take 9mm.
Or I'll have a "tupperware" party and take only poly framed
Or heavy metal.......
Or ...... Well, I guess you get it.
Naturally, any "theme" may be driven by the latest addition. I pick up a Walther PPQ in 10 days so it may be "rookie" day and take my other recent acquisitions.
How do you choose?

) However, it recently occurred to me that I have not shot some of my firearms in a long while. It gives me an uneasy feeling if I don't stay on top of it and practice with all of them!
