The one and only .380 ACP I have is a Beretta 84FS.

Why did I get it? My very petite wife likes it and shoots very well with it. We were watching "The Matrix" and thought it was cool Carrie-Ann Moss was using two of them and I kinda wanted one too.

    Pros:
    small and lightweight
pretty accrurate for a little gun

    Cons:
.380 ACP ammo is pretty expensive
I wouldn't use it for home/personal defense but it's better than nothing
    a bit snappy

What does that mean? Oh well I'd try the Bersa Thunder (dont know if it is listed)

Bersa Thunder, probably. Cheap and reliable, it's on the list.

+1. Picked one up for the wife, but she likes the Glock better, so the Bersa be mine.

.380ACP is a bit more expensive than say 9mm, but it's not like your shooting a rifle in something like .308 (now that's spendy). You can find decent pricing online - I've had good luck with ammoman (hit and miss on supply though) and with ammunitiontogo.com.

AMT backup. Bought it for 80 bucks. Has been decently reliable.

While I have several .380s and would put the Kel-Tec 3AT as my favorite, there is only ONE truly well-built .380, and that is the German-made PPKs or PPK-S's. All others are just anemic (including the Colt Mustang - which I also own).

Now, if I could get my hands on a Glock 28, that might change my mind. - Anybody care to sell me one to make me a believer?

I own a couple of .380's and have sold many others over the years. I actually carried a Colt Mustang and keltech P3AT off and on for a year. Before I came to the realization that there were larger calibers out there that are just as compact and offered more stopping power than a .380.

I have owned Sigs, Bersa's, Colt's, Berretas all in .380 but sold all but a Colt 1908 and Llama Micro. I like my Mustangs and 1908 best. My Colt's (stangs and 1908) were by far the most reliable and easiest to shoot while the Keltech P3AT was the light but painful to shoot.

thank for all your reply,I think about Bersa Thunder .380 ACP also but did not know how good they are.and they price is about right under$250 for some place.

Sig P232 is very nice but price is high.and Walter PPK is had some problem with some JHP (that right???)

thinking something small but can not fine any very compact size like new Ruger LCP (in not on list),any gun this small ??

I just fine out ammo is expensive,Walmart 100rd/box is $31.99 cost more then .45acp.

I need to get more info. about this gun and ammo.

                              thank U all...........
