Sig X-Five Tactical feedback?

Anyone shot one or have and experience with one?

I have about 300 rounds through mine. Stupid thing is so hard to miss with.

One thing that irritates me is the trigger. A little play on the take up, but the reset is nice.

Going shooting tomorrow night, and I am going to put at least a few hundred more through it.

Shoots super smooth, very flat (given you are holding it). Extremely accurate for like, no reason.

The ammo that I shot through it was in this order-
Federal American Eagle AE9FP-147gr FMJ FP
Blazer Brass 115gr
WWB 115gr
Mixed Federal JHP of some sort, Underwood 147 +p+, Winchester Ranger
Hornady Steel Match

I shot the Hornady last because its laquer coated steel and I wanted to see if heat and a little bit of carbon build up would be an issue. It wasn't.

Also-I have Trijicon HDs for it. Makes it pretty quick to pick up the front sight.

It's awesome firearm. Sight radius is nice, eats pretty much anything I feed it.
The beaver tail is nice for grip placement from holster draws.
Trigger has a little play but a positive reset.
Ambi thumb safety takes a bit getting use to if your not a 1911 shooter.

I have both several sigs, and end up shooting this one the most.

Love mine. If you can buy anything in the X5 Series go for it. The X5 Tactical is a super good value within the X5 line. Also have 2 X5 Allrounds, X5 Classic and and X5 Match short.

The only regret I have about my X5's is I wish I would have bought one sooner.

Hurry because the German made X5's are about to become extinct here in the US. Sig is moving all domestic sold Sigs to their US manufacturing plant, including X5's and the P210.

I actually just ordered an X Five Tactical. Just wanted to make sure I made a good choice. Do you guys use TW25B for the rails? I currently use side glide but open to switching

Slide Glide is a good option, I've been using Shooter's Choice primarily. I am personally not a fan of TW25B, but many are.

I just recently got turned onto Super Lube from Robert Burke (The Sig Armorer) and I'm extremely impressed so far:

Just put another 250 +/- rounds through it. Switching from steel to brass to lacquered steel wasn't a problem. Thing works flawlessly.

The only thing I want to get for it is the trigger from the X Five Open. Flat triggers are nice.
