Thanks gutz. Yea those will probably be my last resort. In that pic the front sight doesn't look to thick actually. And I know I can always file down... But I was just hoping someone out there might know of one other then ameriglow of trijicon
Also, you can get thinner width front sights (or wider notched rear sights) to improve your sight picture.

But again, getting taller sights won't help you with precision.

I would LOL pretty hard if you ended up getting suppressor height sights and they were the same front/rear width as what you're currently using.

        LOL @ "high end" sights

Just seems to me no one makes sights that meets all of your needs.

Thanks yea like I said. I don't want trijicon or ameriglow.

I can understand why you guys have a problem with me wanting "high end" sights. People always don't understand glock over HK etc or maybe high point vs glock? Glock wins out vs high point right?

It's preference. We live in a great industry these days where we can have it

So yes I'm looking. Yes your being bags but still helping me at same time so that's ok.

Again. Not interested in ameriglow (high point) or trijicon (Taurus?) lol

You want "high end" suppressor sights, that also have tritium, that aren't Amerglo (no "w") or Trijicon. Get the Dawson.

I think you're making this more difficult than it needs to be.

As for your original goal of "precision irons", I'll say again that you can get thinner width front sights (or wider notched rear sights) to improve your sight picture - why not do that?

Also, might I ask as to what type of accuracy you're currently getting with your Glock 17?

I don't understand why people don't think glocks are for precision personally

When the operator does their part combat accuracy can be far reaching.

I hit 5" plates fast all the way out to 25 yards. To me that's precision. But with fat sights it's hard to even do that. That's why I like thinner sights.

I can hit a 10" plate at 100 just fine too. Again, that's not hard. Any modern pistol can do that. But if your sights are to fat and you can't see it... Well you can't hit it.

Why do you assume I think Glock's aren't accurate?

And for a 3rd time: you can get thinner width front sights (or wider notched rear sights) to improve your sight picture.

Note: I shot the above target at 25 yards with Ameriglo CAP sights (0.140" wide front sight, and 0.156" wide rear notch). Hardly "precision" sights. Initially I felt I wanted a bigger light gap like you, and almost sold my front sight for a TCAP (0.125" wide front), but decided not to after shooting that group.

I think you're on the right track with wanting new sights but the reasons you listed and the products you want make zero sense. I assume that you still have the stock sights? If so, nearly ANY OPTION will be a significant upgrade.

For example, my M&P has Heinie sights and those are awesome (same dimensions as the TCAP above). And I've hit 4.5" at 25 yards.

Your simply trying to think to "logically" about it from your own experience.

I have heinie straight 8s currently. They are my favorite sights. I have owned or used every other one we have listed. I know what I want. And yes there are other reasons I want them as well.

Heinie's machining is more refined, nicer rear notches. I like the hook for racking my slide. I like the look. They look better period.

I'm gonna call Dawson and 10-8 this week and find out for sure, but the more I looked in detail at the links you sent me, they were target sights, not nesseaarily "suppressor hight" to be able to see over a can. And that is what I'm looking for. Don't try to think logically why I should or shouldn't have them based off of laws in HI or California not allowing me to utilize "suppressor hight" sights. I want them. That's enough.

Heinie makes the perfect suppressor hight night sight for HK. Unfortunate they do not make it for glock. That's all I want. So I was hoping to find something comparable.

I still don't understand. If you don't have a can or an rds, why do you want taller sights?

Because this is the same guy who wanted $1k or something ridiculous for a stock Glock he was selling. You remember that fiasco?
