Looking at the reduced spring package from Midway, the smaller one is probably a firing pin spring. Why do you want a reduced recoil spring anyways?

If it is about the diameter of a pencil and 2 or so inches long, yes it is the firing pin spring.

Be forewarned, this combination can cause light primer strikes, and in the case of may too weak of a recoil spring, pushing out of battery while pulling the trigger. If you know what to look for and how to adjust it, this is very commonly done for anyone shooting competition with their Glocks.

i am having issues with my stock recoil spring. a buddy of mines has a #14 recoil spring i installed it on mines and shoots great but i went with a #15 as i thought it was too light for me. i tried what ppl suggested already on here with the stock one but that didnt work out so well on my end ex: leaving pistol racked for a week to soften recoil spring, and shooting a couple of hundred rounds to break it in

Yes, if the OEM spring is in good shape, you can leave it alone, and keep the Wolff as spare.

yes, but stock recoil spring is causing me to have a lot of ftf as opposed to lighter recoil spring. unless you have a better solution? i am not gonna send my glock in just gonna take to much of my time when a recoil spring cost less than 10 bucks shipped

I always thought the free/extra firing spring pin they included was normal power.

OP, keep the factory in for now, they barely wear out.
Just label it, so they do not get mixed up with the 1911's or other little springs.
