    Does anyone shoot 45gap?

45gap is the same as 45acp, except in 230g +p loads.

I like the 45 round because as many claim "a 9mm or 40s&w may fail to expand, but a 45 will never shrink"

I also think a 45acp glock would be the ideal carry or home defense for me, but my gloves are too small.

Thus, the 45gap. Ther perfect answer for guys with normal to small hands.

For those who have shoot it; is the recoil and muzzle flip the same as the 45acp?
What are youre thoughts on this?

Other then to accomodate a 45acp into a smaller frame what are other benefits?

The muzzle velocities of the two rounds seem similar from Hodgdon's reloading data, so I would assume the recoil and flip would be the same, given the same handgun. But if you're going to compare a 1911 in 45 acp and a Glock 37, you'll probably have more flip with the G37.

One advantage would be using small pistol primers. I know that would let me stock only one type of pistol primers for reloading purposes. But you're probably in the disadvantage with the higher cost of ammunition.

        I shoot the .45GAP round.
So, does four state law enforcement agencies.

I perfer it over the .40S&W.
For me, it has less felt recoil than .40S&W (more push, less snap) and I'm more accurate with it than with the .40S&W (side by side testing of Glock 27 & 39).

Buy ammo online in bulk and it's about the same price as .45ACP.

          Have you tried the G21sf?

Once they start making WWB value packs, then I'll consider it.

Is the full size 45GAP GLOCK smaller than a G21SF? If not, why bother?

Slightly but not incredibly. The Glock 37 is the same frame as the 17.

I'd suggest getting your hands on the 21SF & 30SF and then comparing them to the 37 & 39. The only issue with GAP is ammo availability and price, otherwise it would be a great option. But when purchasing a pistol like a Glock, ammo availability and price is of the main things to focus on.

I have a Springfield XD in 45gap, love this gun and caliber, but $$$ to shoot. Not everyone carrys the ammo. I have been lucky at finding ammo that people don't want anymore and picked it up cheap, at the price it goes for in shops(when they have it) the .45 acp is cheaper to shoot.
I know I know, reload is the way to go.

Thieves are the lowest form of life out there, except for liberal politicians, of course, but that's redundant.

Ive shot it.... and for the cost of the round, I would rather have a different exotic caliber like a 10mm, a 357 sig, or 38 super. In fact.... I do own a 10mm glock.

I keep hearing ammo price, and yes if walk into a store it is more expensive.

I buy my ammo online, and for 500 rounds of good quality 45acp or 45gap ammoman.com charges $199. The same price.

In fact, the 10mm is $199 for 500
The 357sig, which I purchase more of cost $169 for lawmen 500 rounds TMJ.

I like the sound of a small frame glock capable of shooting the big bore 45, but if I had to choose my next caliber I would want the 10mm more.

I also have read everywhere that the 45gap is more accurate for most shooters, and offers less recoil and muzzle flip.
True or not I haven't shoot it to concur or offer a dissenting opinion.
