She has good taste, Who says everything small has to be polymer? Lol. These 3913's have a few different models, the straight frame (as opposed to the rounded bulge in front of the trigger guard) is where it's at. I think she went like 5 years without cleaning it and we took it to the range and it was flawless.

Nice for a small gun! Fist size groups at ~10 yards for me, I'm sure it would do better with more practice. The DA pull is pretty strong but that does make it "safer." I'd love to lighten it up a little but everywhere ive looked doesn't recommend a full disassembly unless you have a s&w armorer looking over your shoulder. If anyone has any tips let me know. The SA pull is very good. It's single stack so very concealable, but definitely has some heft to it.

I saw a uglier version (bulged bottom, said s&w "tactical" or something on the slide at a LGS used for 799.. I know a lot of people consider it the finest single stack 9 ever made. I don't have enough experience to comment on it bUT that's what a lot of people say. Nicer than the shield imo.

SW 3rd gen. are great pistols, had the same exact gun. Very cool little 9mm!

GLOCK knockoff? Are you talking about the M&P? The single most successful line S&W has had in a LONG time.

The M&Ps are amazing pistols that are not only very affordable, but reliable and easy to handle. They rival the highly revered GLOCKs and even the much more expensive: HKs.
