Are they nicer than the other iterations? Is 525 a good price?

If this tells you anything, I've seen prices here for $425 used. Many times, they will come with several mags and even upgrades.

I saw the RIA tactical and the citadel equivalent side by side. If I remember correctly the citadel had nicer grips, otherwise they looked equivalent. I was impressed with the fit, but the parkerized finish is rough on both. Should be no more than $500 for a new one.

Does the citadel come stock with the enhancements that the ria tactical has? It's hard to find this info. Is the citadel nicer than a basic ria?

Yes, the Citadel is nicer then a basic RIA. More like the TAC.

Get it next year as it will still be on the roster.

One thing to note is that Citadel and Taylors Tactical are produced by armscor but most people don't know this and as such they seem to sell for less in the used market.

Get your SSEs done first. If the Citadel falls off, you can always get a Rock

Really no diff between the rock and others. Only minor cosmetic stuff. Armscor makes guns for lots of firms. My only question is do you get the RIA warranty and CS that comes with the rocks? If not, get a rock. I own two rocks, a 9 and a 45. Love them both.

yes i believe armscor handles the off shoot warranties at the nevada address

I really enjoy shooting my Citadel. It was less than $500 brand new (pre tax, etc). Nice, solid gun.
