So I decided my next purchase this year will be the sig mk25. How much of a difference is there between the ca version and the sse version.

Yzernie has a MK25 non-Ca for $900
For greater enjoyment and greater resale value go for the non-Ca.Comment

The Ca version makes it not worth buying if you ask me an orange fin and words across the slide.
Here is what the LCI looks like

I just threw up in my mouth a little. What does the "magazine disconnect" do versus a traditional mag release button? The Ca version makes it not worth buying if you ask me an orange fin and words across the slide.

magazine disconnect prevents the firearm from firing a round in the chamber if there is not a magazine in the firearm.
seem that stupid people drop the mag and think the gun is unloaded and then point the gun at something they don't want to destroy and pull the trigger. they're shocked when it goes BANG and sue (or their estate does) gun manufacturers from not protecting them from themselves.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

MK25 is on the "safe list" while technically the MK25CA is not. Some places will DROS the MK25 without SSE. It's up to the FFL.Comment
