Mk25 ca vs. non ca mk25

So I decided my next purchase this year will be the sig mk25. How much of a difference is there between the ca version and the sse version.

LCI, 10 round mags, magazine disconnect. That's it, but in my mind that's enough reason to go non ca if an option.

      /thread

Guess that answers OP question. Are you sure that was your only question?

I've seen the non LCI/mag disconnect go for $899 no SSE needed.

Just on principle you should non-CA. After SSE goes away it's very unlikely I'll buy anymore firearms that are on the roster. Maybe, semi custom 1911 and that's a big maybe.

The mag disconnect is the only functional difference. I'would buy a lightly used non-Calif gun or SSE a non CA featured gun while I still can.

                Yzernie has a MK25 non-Ca for $900

For greater enjoyment and greater resale value go for the non-Ca.

The Ca version makes it not worth buying if you ask me an orange fin and words across the slide.

Here is what the LCI looks like

I just threw up in my mouth a little. What does the "magazine disconnect" do versus a traditional mag release button?

magazine disconnect prevents the firearm from firing a round in the chamber if there is not a magazine in the firearm.

seem that stupid people drop the mag and think the gun is unloaded and then point the gun at something they don't want to destroy and pull the trigger. they're shocked when it goes BANG and sue (or their estate does) gun manufacturers from not protecting them from themselves.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

What about all those poor LEO's. Some of them have to carry unsafe weapons.

MK25 is on the "safe list" while technically the MK25CA is not. Some places will DROS the MK25 without SSE. It's up to the FFL.
