PPQ grip length

I just SSE'd a PPQ M2 5". It's amazing, and I shoot it more accurately than anything in my safe except my Tanfoglio Gold (including CZs, XDms, etc).

One thing bothers me about the PPQ though - the grip is too short for my wide hands. Part of my hand hangs over the edge of the grip, and it makes my grip feel slightly uncomfortable. I don't have this problem with any of my other handguns, which all have longer grips.

Out of state, I've used 17-rd extended mags for the PPQ, which make the grip feel much more comfortable for my fat hands. This may sound crazy, but any ideas where I could get some 17-rd mags blocked to 10 rds?

You could see if Magazineblocks.com or EBR Works can produce a 10/17 block (EBR has 10/19 block for XDm, maybe that might work with trimming).

I've also seen early pics of DIY blocking, a rod epoxied beneath the follower, as a limiter.

My 40 PPQ came from factory with a huge magazine extension. But it didn't effect the magazine size. Something like this? maybe I got them included because its a 5".
